University of Western Sydney
welcome to the
Rabbit Hole

The Rabbit Hole design studio is a part of the dynamic School of Humanities and Communication Arts at the University of Western Sydney. It’s a place where students in their final year of the Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) program heighten their design practice through work-integrated learning. Where live projects, that have real clients, and tangible production outcomes, provide a bridge between study and work life.

how far are you willing to go?

In the Rabbit Hole, final year design students advance their higher-level skills as emerging graphic designers by working on projects as junior designers, with their tutors as creative directors. A range of briefs from brand identity, packaging, digital content and campaign design are offered each semester, and every student is allocated a role based on their existing disciplinary strengths and future career aspirations.

about the studio

Established in 2007, the award-winning Rabbit Hole provides opportunities for students to work on projects with real clients and real world implications.
